Aim high
The only way to get higher in Austria is by plane. At 3,798 meters, the Grossglockner is the highest peak in the country. The mountains surrounding it are also impressive. The Grossglockner High Alpine Road does not go quite as high, but offers breathtaking views of the surrounding area. Bruck an der Großglocknerstraße is the perfect starting point for such a tour with your own car or bike. The route leads over almost 50 kilometers up to approx. 2500 meters above sea level and guarantees a special experience that will be remembered for a long time.

The Pinzgau is not only a winter sports paradise in winter. With glacier ski areas such as the Kitzsteinhorn, the white splendor can also be enjoyed in the warmer months of the year. In addition, there are other well-known ski areas in the immediate vicinity such as Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Zell am See or Bruck-Fusch. The well-developed ski areas of Mittersill or Hochkönig are also easy to reach and leave nothing to be desired for a successful winter sports holiday.
